Looking to Learn?
Looking to Learn? Of course, that’s what UUs do. Our classes for adults are an important offering to the UU members, friends, and our community. You can become a part of this rewarding service in several ways.
- Share your knowledge and insight by offering a class that you design and teach or co-teach.
- Use your public speaking and teaching skills to teach a ready-made curriculum or idea. For example, we’re looking for someone to teach mask-making and its religious significance for a class before All Hallows Eve; or a course that teaches our UU heritage.
- Join the Adult Religious Education committee! We meet once a month to organize the classes, brainstorm, and develop spiritually and intellectually.
Religious Education grows the congregation, literally and figuratively. Education is holistic, addressing the Head, Heart, and Hands, plus “extras”.
