The Committee on Ministry
The purpose of the Committee on Ministry is to promote effective ministry in the congregation and to assist the congregation in understanding and evaluating the nature and scope of the ministry of the church. (See the Bylaws.) It is composed of all of the members of the two Ministerial Advisory Committees.
The two Advisory Committees work with the ministers as they develop yearly goals that help move the congregation toward fulfilment of its stated mission, covenant and vision. The Advisory Committees are available to the ministers for job-related counsel and perspective on professional development issues. As part of the Committee on Ministry, the Advisory Committees encourage the whole congregation to be involved in this process by bringing feedback either directly to the ministers or to any member of their respective committees.
